Triple Quality Testing

What does Triple Quality Testing Mean? It means that we verify every ingredient and every formula every step of the way. This includes:

  • Raw materials: Every raw material—many of them backed by published scientific and clinical studies and exclusive to EuroMedica—is verified for its authenticity and appropriate levels of beneficial compounds.
  • Formulations: We ensure that our formulations are stable, readily dispersed, and properly blended to be made into the capsules, tablets, chewables, or drink mixes that you trust in every day.
  • Finished products: After manufacture it has been thoroughly tested for accurate ingredient contents, safety, and stability.

What is the Process?

  • Each raw material supplier tests the raw materials for strength, purity, identity, and composition.
  • Next, our contract manufacturers conduct tests on active raw materials and the finished product. They include their results on the finished product Certificate of Analysis (CoA). These procedures are incredibly rigorous: each product is tested according to specifications for label claims, disintegration times, strength, identity, purity, and composition by in-house and certified third-party analytical laboratories.
  • Finally, EuroMedica sends finished products to certified third-party laboratories to confirm and verify the results listed on the vendor CoA prior to releasing the product to practitioners.

What Kinds of Third-Party Tests?

The battery of tests that we employ for our ingredients, formulations, and products may include, but is not limited to:

  • Identity: High-Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC)
  • Strength: High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), Gas Chromatography (GC)
  • Purity: United States Pharmacopeia (USP) methods for microbiology
  • Composition: USP methods for residual solvents, pesticides, and heavy metals
  • Stability: International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines for stability
