- BCM-95® CURCUMIN
Curcumin, the primary compound from turmeric (Curcuma longa), has been recognized for its pain relieving abilities.*† BCM-95 curcumin is blended with turmeric oil containing ar-turmerone in a patented process for up to 700 percent enhanced absorption and improved blood retention time. It can work more effectively and for a longer time than plain curcumin extracts or unstandardized turmeric. In fact, it is the most clinically studied, enhanced absorption curcumin in the world!
- BOS-10® BOSWELLIA
Like curcumin, boswellia (Boswellia serrata) has long been valued for its health benefits. Our boswellia, BOS-10, is clinically studied, PLUS it is uniquely standardized to higher levels, at least 10 percent, of AKBA (acetyl-11-keto-B-boswellic acid), the botanical’s key compound for pain relief.*† Unstandardized boswellia can have as little as one percent AKBA. Additionally, the beta boswellic acid content is reduced to less than 5 percent, yielding a more powerful supplement.
- DLPA
DL-phenylalanine supports the activity of endorphins and enkephalins, which play a role in both healthy mood support and pain relief.*†
- NATTOKINASE
This enzyme supports healthy microcirculation so the ingredients in Curaphen get to where they are needed most.*

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Curaphen safe for people with heart, liver or kidney conditions?
Anyone with a chronic condition should of course consult a healthcare practitioner prior to the use of any supplement. However, there are no specific safety issues using Curaphen. Studies have shown that the ingredients in Curaphen are actually health supportive of these systems.*
What makes the boswellia in Curaphen different from unstandardized boswellia extracts?
The boswellia is uniquely standardized to provide more AKBA and virtually no pro-inflammatory beta-boswellic acid. Some unstandardized boswellia extracts can have up to 15-25% beta-boswellic acids!
Can I take Curaphen on an empty stomach?
Yes, you can. Many people prefer to take supplements with food, but Curaphen is effective regardless of when you take it.
How does the curcumin in Curaphen compare to other curcumin and turmeric products?
The proper product comparison is curcumin to curcumin. However, since many companies are comparing their curcumin absorption to turmeric, we provide this information as a service to our practitioner partners and their patients.
- Plain curcumin compared to turmeric delivers up to 50 times the curcumin as the same amount of turmeric.
- The curcumin in Curaphen has been proven to deliver up to 10 times more curcumin into the bloodstream as the same amount of plain curcumin.
- Therefore, when compared gram per gram, the curcumin in Curaphen delivers up to 10 times more curcumin than plain curcumin and up to 500 times more curcumin than that found in an equal amount of turmeric.
Does Nattokinase contain Vitamin K?
No. Nattokinase is an isolated and purified enzyme extract from natto (a fermented soybean food), which does not contain vitamin K.
Why do some capsules occasionally appear lighter/darker yellow than others?
It’s not unusual for ingredients, especially those of botanical origin, to have some variance in color. The important thing is that the standardized compounds within the herbal ingredients are the same. When you see variations, just keep in mind that it is simply the result of being a botanical product.
Why is silica in this product?
Silica is just there to make sure that the premium ingredients in Curaphen are properly mixed and measured so that every capsule guarantees the same effective, beneficial components. Many botanical ingredients are, by their nature, “sticky” and can tend to clump if they are not mixed with a minute amount of inert, harmless material. We never use extra ingredients in any EuroMedica® product unless required for quality reasons.
