Clinically studied curcumin and boswellia combined with synergistic nutrients:
BCM-95 curcumin is blended with turmeric oil containing the compound, ar-turmerone, in a patented process for enhanced absorption and improved blood retention time. It can work more effectively and for a longer time than plain curcumin extracts or unstandardized turmeric. Additionally, it is the most clinically studied, enhanced absorption curcumin in the world, over 90 published studies and counting—so your patients are getting a proven ingredient in every dose.
BOS-10 boswellia is clinically studied, plus it is standardized to higher levels of AKBA (acetyl-11-keto-B-boswellic acid), the botanical’s key compound for pain relief.*† Unstandardized boswellia can have as little as one percent AKBA. Additionally, the beta boswellic acid content is reduced to less than 5 percent, yielding a more powerful supplement.
DLPA and Nattokinase to support healthy endorphin/enkephalin activity and healthy circulation, addressing pain relief, mood, and the ability of these nutrients to get where they are needed most.*†

Is it okay to take Curaphen Extra Strength and Curaphen at the same time?
You can take both of them at the same time, but you may want to start with Curaphen Extra Strength for initial intensive benefits, and then use Curaphen as a daily maintenance supplement.
What is the difference between Curaphen Extra Strength and the regular formula Curaphen?
Curaphen Extra Strength simply provides a higher level of ingredients in a different ratio and a more convenient dosage form. Just one or two tablets per day of Curaphen Extra Strength may be enough to provide the benefits people desire.
What makes the boswellia in Curaphen Extra Strength different than other boswellia extracts?
While most boswellic acids are associated with positive benefits, not all of them truly are best when you’re trying to support an active lifestyle. By ensuring at least 10% or more acetyl-11-β-keto-boswellic acid (AKBA), and reducing beta-boswellic acid to less than 5%, the boswellia in Curaphen Extra Strength provides much greater benefit than most standard boswellic extracts, some of which have up to 15-25% beta-boswellic acid!
Does Nattokinase contain Vitamin K?
No. Nattokinase is an isolated and purified enzyme extract from natto (a fermented soybean food), which does not contain vitamin K.
Is there a difference between Curaphen Extra Strength and curcumin?
Yes. Curcumin is the beneficial compound found in the turmeric plant. Curaphen Extra Strength is the name of the product which contains our highly absorbable curcumin along with our uniquely standardized boswellia, DLPA and nattokinase.
Is there a difference between turmeric and curcumin?
Yes. Turmeric is the plant that provides curcumin. Turmeric typically contains about 2-5% curcumin, so taking an unstandardized, powdered turmeric product means that very large amounts would be required to get a beneficial amount of curcumin. Additionally, curcumin is poorly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. While turmeric is excellent when used as a spice, the high absorption curcumin extract used in Curaphen Extra Strength is a better choice for health benefits.*
How does the curcumin in Curaphen Extra Strength compare to other curcumin and turmeric products?
The proper product comparison is curcumin to curcumin. However, since many companies are comparing their curcumin
absorption to turmeric, we provide this information as a service to our practitioner partners and their patients.
- Plain curcumin 95% compared to turmeric delivers up to 50 times the curcumin as the same amount of turmeric.
- The curcumin in Curaphen Extra Strength has been proven to deliver up to 10 times more curcumin into the bloodstream as the same amount of plain curcumin.
- Therefore, when compared gram per gram, the curcumin in Curaphen Extra Strength is up to 10 times more curcumin than plain curcumin 95% and up to 500 times more curcumin than that found in an equal amount of turmeric.
Why is silica in this product?
Silica is just there to make sure that the premium ingredients in Curaphen Extra Strength are properly mixed and measured so that every capsule guarantees the same effective, beneficial components. Many botanical ingredients are, by their nature, “sticky” and can tend to clump if they are not mixed with a minute amount of inert, harmless material. We never use extra ingredients in any EuroMedica® product unless required for quality reasons.
